Flying Without Wings Our thanks to Dr. Norman Michaud for bringing to our attention a very special book, "Flying Without Wings" by Arnold R. Beisser. The book is a remarkable chronicle of the experiences of Dr. Beisser when he became physically disabled. There is also some very interesting descriptions of visual hallucinations that occurred similar to those who have post Trauma Vision Syndrome.

JOURNAL OF NEURO-REHABILITATION DEVOTES SPRING ISSUE TO NEURO-OPTOMETRIC REHABILITATION

The Journal of Neuro-Rehabilitation has dedicated the Spring 1996 issue to Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation. NORA members William V. Padula, O.D. and Stephanie Argyris, M.D. will be the guest editors of this issue. Papers have been accepted by several NORA members and topics will include Post Trauma Vision Syndrome (PTVS), Visual Midline Shift Syndrome (VMSS), photophobia, case studies, occlusion therapy, hemianopsia, ambient visual processing and others.
